JAKARTA, Aug 20 (BBJ-JFX) - Palm oil prices higher on Export data and fresh buying on lower prices.
December soyoil at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) up as 0.62 to 53.80 cent per-pound in Asian trade today. Overnight, December Soybean Oil at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) finished down 0.20 to 53.18 cent per-pound.
The Cargo surveyor Intertek Testing Services estimated Malaysia's palm oil exports in the August 1-20 period at 904,645 tons, up 31% from the estimated for the same period in July.
The benchmark November contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange (CPO BMD) up 84 ringgit at 2520 a mectric tons.
